Edid Override Windows 10
Windows 10 reset external monitors settings. Before I applied the 4k resolution I changed the settings to 'Second screen only' ( really bad choice) and right after I changed it, my TV screen went white / a light grey. After I disconnect the hdmi cable my laptop monitor stays white for a few seconds than it goes into the lockscreen (fully usable after that). Jan 29, 2014 I tried running EDID Override Tool with Task Manager open, and nothing new shows up in either Applications or Processes tabs. When starting the tool with Sysinternals Process Monitor engaged, several pages of EDID Override Tool entries are generated. I didn't see any obvious problem there, but I'm a beginner with Process Monitor. Altogether the. But I can't imaging that there is no possibility to figure out which EDID data folder/key in the registry belongs to a PHYSICALMONITOR object. I guess that, since PHYSICALMONITOR objects and EDID data both have monitor related info/data, that there must be a way to figure out the 'link' between them.
-->My hdmi monitor stop working suddenly and the windows can't recognized the monitor so here is the solution that i came up with. Fix hdmi black screen, fix hdmi low resolution, samsung sa24a350h.
