Windows 10 reset external monitors settings. Before I applied the 4k resolution I changed the settings to 'Second screen only' ( really bad choice) and right after I changed it, my TV screen went white / a light grey. After I disconnect the hdmi cable my laptop monitor stays white for a few seconds than it goes into the lockscreen (fully usable after that). EDID override, 3d formats and windows 10 2 / 2 quote='aluizioedypo'I've seen somewhere the eyes maybe switched with the edid? How do i check this?/quote quote='D-Man11'Put the glasses on upside down and check the results./quote quote='aluizioedypo'Ok so If they are really inverted what should i see different? Jan 29, 2014  I tried running EDID Override Tool with Task Manager open, and nothing new shows up in either Applications or Processes tabs. When starting the tool with Sysinternals Process Monitor engaged, several pages of EDID Override Tool entries are generated. I didn't see any obvious problem there, but I'm a beginner with Process Monitor. Altogether the. But I can't imaging that there is no possibility to figure out which EDID data folder/key in the registry belongs to a PHYSICALMONITOR object. I guess that, since PHYSICALMONITOR objects and EDID data both have monitor related info/data, that there must be a way to figure out the 'link' between them.

My hdmi monitor stop working suddenly and the windows can't recognized the monitor so here is the solution that i came up with. Fix hdmi black screen, fix hdmi low resolution, samsung sa24a350h.

This automated test checks for the compliance of the extended-display identification data (EDID) of a monitor.

Specifically, this test retrieves EDID data from monitor software key fields. It then verifies key fields that are associated with the EDID structure that is based on the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) Enhanced Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) Standard Version 1.3. Open source data entry software.
